Printer-friendly versionMy mother-in-law bought the Kindle 2 for my birthday about a month ago and I've purchased three books and several issues of magazines. I have read them and enjoy having the ability to purchase and read as easily as anyone else! Using the Kindle to read as a blind person gives me equal access and gives the publishers and authors more income as previously I borrowed from the library services for the blind heavily and now I can purchase current books immediately and read them! Keep the text-to-speech option! It's not at all like audible actor-read books.
